Feature film script Abdelkader is signed to Elkader Productions Ltd

The first project to be signed to Elkader Productions Ltd is the feature film script, Abdelkader, written by Abdelouahab Hammoudi.

Developed with a keen attention to the history of this famous revolutionary Algerian leader, specifically in the English language and with the assistance of Filmarket Hub, Abdelkader pulls no punches to explore the devastation of colonial conquest ensuring, through the unique character of its protagonist, Abdelkader al-Hassani al-Jaza'iri, the simultaneous formation of the nation state of Algeria.

Elkader intends to work in close collaboration with the Algerian Film Commission to develop a prestige film project which will inspire and thrill audiences across the world. The deal involves all rights ownership.
